End-User License Agreement

This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is between you and Memetic Research Laboratories LLC (“we,” “us”) and governs your use of the OverView application and related materials (“Software”). By installing or using the Software, you agree to this Agreement.

1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software on Apple computers that you own or control, for your own use.

2. Beta software

The Software is provided as a pre-release beta. It may contain errors, change, or be discontinued, and it is provided for evaluation. Do not rely on it as your sole record of important financial, medical, legal, or other information.

3. Restrictions

You may not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except as permitted by law; (b) rent, lease, sell, sublicense, or redistribute the Software; or (c) remove any proprietary notices.

4. Third-party services

The Software can connect to third-party services that you choose, including OpenRouter (for AI features) and Intuit QuickBooks Online (for accounting features). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and you are responsible for any accounts and credentials you use with them.

5. Your content

You retain all rights to the documents, messages, and data you process with the Software. We do not claim ownership of your content and, as described in our Privacy Policy, we do not receive it.

6. Accessibility

OverView is built to assist people with low vision. It is an aid, not a substitute for professional advice or a guarantee of accuracy; always verify important details.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

8. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE.

9. Termination

This license ends if you breach this Agreement or stop using the Software. On termination you must stop using and remove the Software.

10. Governing law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which we are organized, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
